Kamden and Boston

Kamden is 2 months old today! He celebrated by rolling from his belly to his back, yikes, we won't be able to set him just anywhere anymore. He smiles and coos at us every day now and slept 8 hours straight this week for the first time...although apparently it was a one time thing, because he hasn't done it again. My favorite nickname for him is Kamcake. He makes our day every time he smiles at us and I go to bed at night with slobbery shirts and knots in my hair from him grabbing clumps of it and holding on for dear life...I swear he does it on purpose :)

Annette and Payson visiting Kamden a few weeks ago. Payson and Kam are buddies.

Grandma Pat's 75th Birthday Party!!! Kam loves the water and being outside. We had a cute swimming suit for him, and he ended up stripped down to a diaper anyway because it was so hot.

Kamcake all studded up for Fathers Day. This outfit was supposed to be for Jess's wedding but he was too small, and now he will be too big to wear it for Shay's wedding...go figure.

YeeHaw, we went to the Horse Pulls last weekend to cheer on the Hillyard's family's teams. Sadly, I didn't see any mullets this year, which was disappointing because I spotted 3 people with mullets last year.

The guys were just chillin in their handsome stripey shirts. Kam is about 6 weeks old in these pics and loves to be spoiled by Grandpa Mike and Daddy.

Congrats Jess and Jason!!

Jess and Jason got married May 7th and she was such a beautiful bride. I officially have a brother now for the first time. Kamden was 9 days old so it was crazy trying to take care of him and be a part of all the festivities, but it we all survived and it was a great day. We love you, Mr. and Mrs. Mietchen!!

Here are some random pics of Kamden when he was still tiny. I have more recent ones, but not with me, so I'll post them later. He was born April 28, 2011 and is 7 lb. 10 oz. and 20 in. long. He had a bruise on his head because he was stuck for a while on his way out, but it went away pretty quickly. He also had jaundice and had to be on billi lights for 5 days, which was a bummer because we couldn't hold him for a week when he came home from the hospital. We love him so much and are so grateful he chose our family!!! He is smiling and cooing now and makes us laugh every day. Brady and I still can't believe we are parents...it just doesn't seem real, but we sure love having a little buddy.
