Stayin' Alive!

Holy cow, time is flying with two boys.  I feel like Boston is growing too fast and the easiest and sweetest and most enjoyable baby I could ever have imagined and Kam is getting more hilarious and brilliant every day.  In fact, yesterday I was singing the "Let it Go" song from Frozen and Kam stopped playing, looked up at me with raised eyebrows, and said, "That's freaking me out, mom."  OUCH.  Even my 2 year old knows I'm a terrible singer.
I just wanted to share our comical recent family picture (it was freezing cold, Boss barfed all over his outfit and me right as we were on our way to take the pictures so he had to be changed and I had to wear my smelly shirt, and Kamden refused to take his coat off so we had to pry it off him and he threw a fit for pictures).

My Dudes!

I finally got around to posting pictures of my new guy, Boston Michael.  We are so in love with him.  He is sweet and calm and snuggly and Kamden LOVES him!  Brady and I sttill can't believe we have two kids.  We are so very lucky to have them in our lives and excited for all the adventures ahead.

Bridal Veil Falls with Grandma and Grandpa

Dude is 2!

On Saturday, 4/27, we had a birthday party for Kamden at our house.  Almost all of our family showed up, which was super awesome because some of them live in Logan and Wyoming!  Kam loved playing with his cousins and I didn't see him most of the day because he just followed them around.

Aunt Jess's friend made Kam's awesome cake.  He slept with that dirt bike for 2 nights after his birthday.

The party was dirt bike themed so we had Spare Tires and Exhaust Pipes to drink our Fuel (milk and chocolate milk) out of.  I think I'll do donuts every year, it was so easy and yummy :)

Happy Easter!

We spent the Saturday before Easter with all of the Herd.  We had a blast and Kamden chased his cousins all day long.  We are so blessed to have such a fun family!

Check out Kamden's cool Easter basket...and sunglasses!

Grandma Karen was a rockstar and helped Kam and all the other kids color easter eggs.  Kam did all of his orange :)

Notice what Kam is doing in the picture below...smart kid...

As Kam ran around with his cousins on the treasure hunt, all his eggs kept bouncing out of his basket so we had to follow him and pick them all up.  He had no idea we were on a treasure hunt, he just ran when his cousins did.

I sure love my two handsome dudes!

Like the dorky bow tie?  Kam got it from nursery, and I couldn't resist having him wear it for Easter.

Kam's first experience rolling Easter eggs...yes real hard boiled eggs...down the hill with his cousins.  This is a longstanding Herd tradition that always ends up with my brother-in-law, Ben, throwing nasty cracked eggs at me.  This year, he got my hair and my armpit.  Revenge will be sweet when I use raw eggs on you next year Benny Boy!

We did this to my mom's truck while they were at church.  Brady was giggling like a schoolgirl.

Introducing Peanut #2...

I went to my first ultrasound Monday and I am 10 weeks and 6 days along.  I'm due October 17th but if everything goes smoothly, the Dr. will induce me a week early.  10/10 has a nice ring to it :)  My mom came with me to the appointment and at one point the baby waved to us.  And it was super wiggly, just like his/her big brother was and still is.  Jess had her appointment yesterday and she is now due October 28th, so at least we will have a little break between babies so we can fully enjoy each one!  I can't wait until June, so we can find out what we are having.  I think it's a girl, but most people have guessed it's a boy...only time will tell and I'll be thrilled to have a new family member either way.

Gotta love morning hair.  This is the first ever picture I've taken of Kamden that he said "cheese."  So cute!  I sure love hanging out with him!

Proof that my hubby is both handsome and helpful.
